Ocean Acidification (OA)
In the last decades, anthropogenic ocean acidification has been influencing calcifying organisms in a detrimental way. In this project, Our team under the supervision of Dr. Ali Nasrolahi collaborated with Dr. José Carlos Hernández are investigating the impact of OA on the intertidal gastropod, Phorcus sauciatus, which inhabited near a volcanic CO2 vent in the Canary Islands (North-East Atlantic Ocean)

Plant Ecological Assessment
Touchal Mountain is a tourism hotspot in the north of Tehran. In this project, I studied the floral diversity of the Touchal region with an emphasis on landscape designing and ecological management, working with Dr. Ahmadreza Mehrabian at the Shahid Beheshti University.

Marine and Freshwater Plankton
In this project, I collaborated with Dr. Mohammad Reza Shokri as a research assistant. A plankton net was used to collecting samples of plankton from Anzali Lagoon and coastal seawater in Qeshm Island. Then, the samples were fixed with formalin solution and most species were identified with a microscope.

Survey of GMO Food
As a member of the executive team in Parsian BioTech co, I contributed to a survey of 1000 people in Tehran, assessing their awareness about GMOs and labeling. Then, the collected data were analyzed with SPSS.
